DOROTHY LEE "DOT" CLAY, 84, of Ceredo, W.Va., passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, in the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Byard officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova. She was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Kenova, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hiram H. and Hattie Amburgy Curry. Dot was a retired secretary from the Ohio River Company and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kenova. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Clay; and three brothers and two sisters. Dot is survived by her daughter, Terry Lynn Turner and her husband Dr. Robert Turner of Huntington, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Nick Turner (Laura) of Atlanta, Ga., Ryan E. Turner of Rockvile, Md., Rachel Turner of Huntington, W.Va.; and one great-grandson, Brycen of Huntington, W.Va. MARY FRANCIS JOBE, 76, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away March 2, 2012, at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, Huntington. She was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Branchland, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Cora Porter Jobe. She is survived by her sister, Jean Spurlock of Barboursville; three brothers, Roscoe Jobe of Greenup, Ky., Ival and Virgil Jobe, both of Huntington; several nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Ladonna Stewart, who has been her caregiver for 20 years. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.

DALLAS WILSON, 77, of Huntington, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born Jan. 28, 1935, in Genoa, W.Va., a son of Ota Robertson Wilson of Huntington, and the late Raymond Wilson. Dallas was retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, where he was a former commander of the Honor Guard for many years and a life member of VFW Post 1064 of Huntington. In 1996, he retired from the Huntington VA Medical Center in the housekeeping department. In addition to his mother, Dallas is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanette Gregg Wilson; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Roxann Wilson of Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Greg Ledbetter of Ga.; and his other children, two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Robin Siddle of Huntington, and Mark and Nanci Siddle of Ala.; daughter, Teri Layne of Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Betty Wilson of N.C., and Bobby Joe and Jenanne Wilson of Huntington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deloris and Junior O'Brien of Ft. Gay, and Bonnie and Daniel Copley of Grayson, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. The American Legion Post 93 of Kenova will be serve as Honor Guard's during the visitation Monday night and will also conduct graveside military rites. JOYCE WILLIAMSON CHAFFINS, 65, of Louisa passed away Friday March 2, 2012 following a tragic storm. Joyce was born May 29, 1946 in Crum, the daughter of the late Gideon and Nettie Waller Williamson. She was a school crossing guard for the Pontiac Michigan School System. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Samantha Danielle Wood and a sister Janet Pack. Survivors include her husband Glen Chaffins, a daughter Karen Wood, adopted daughter Lori Hill, two grandsons Tyler and Austin Wood, adopted grandchildren Jonathan, Eric, Mathew, Zackery, and Taylor Hill; brothers Birdie Williamson, Wayne Williamson, Clifford Williamson, and Herman Williamson; a sister Reba Marsh. Joint Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday March 8th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Roger Ross. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Webb, WV. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Wednesday March 7th at the Wilson Funeral Home.

SAMANTHA DANIELLE WOOD, 14, of Louisa, passed away Friday March 2, 2012 following a tragic storm in Lawrence County. Samantha was a 9th grade student at Lawrence County High School, member of the National Junior Honor Society and a proud member of the percussion section of the Lawrence County High School Band. She was born Nov. 4, 1997 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Karen Chaffins Wood and the late Andrew Scott Wood. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her grandmother Joyce Chaffins. Survivors include her mother Karen Wood of Louisa; grandfather Glen Chaffins also of Louisa, two brothers Tyler Wood and Austin Wood both at home, uncles and aunts Allen and wife Terry Wood and Anthony and wife Gina Wood, cousins Ryan and Emily Wood. Joint funeral services will be conducted on Thursday March 8th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home by Rev. Roger Ross. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery at Webb, WV. Friends may call after 5:00 pm Wednesday March 7th at the Wilson Funeral Home.

WESLEY N. WELCH, 66, of Kenova, W. Va. passed away at home Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born April 24, 1946 in Blackley, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Welch. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Balser Welch of Lavalette, W.Va., three sisters; Alice (James) Staley of Lavalette, Ella Carroll of Ashland, K.Y., and Diann Pack of Huntington, W.Va., and two brothers; Leonard (Viola) Welch and Paul (Juanita) Welch, both of Prichard, W.Va., and a host of friends and family. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Welch Family.

EMOGENE BRUMFIELD, 83, of Catlettsburg, Ky., formerly of Kenova, W.Va., went to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Bogar and Eula (Parsley) Caldwell, and the widow of the late Andrew K. Brumfield. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Manford Caldwell. Emogene was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She was formerly employed as a cook at Ferndale Elementary School in Kenova, W.Va. She was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of God, Huntington, W.Va., where she was a former member of the Sanctuary Choir and the Golden Voices Choir. She served the Lord faithfully for over 53 years and was a true woman of faith. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Carl) Stanley of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Debra (Charles) Harmon of Fountain Hills, Ariz. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brent (Mindy) Stanley, Beth (Jack) Hulett of Catlettsburg, Ky., Jeanna (Pete) Slodownik of Phoenix, Ariz., and Christa (James) Harding of Wasilla, Alaska; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Stanley, Ryder Slowdownik and Kendra Hulett. Survivors also include three brothers, Ted Caldwell, Bob (Ruby) Caldwell), Butch Caldwell of Kenova, W.Va.; and three sisters, Barbara Ruth (Don) Watts, and Judy (Danny) Roy of Kenova, W.Va., and June (Ted) Kennedy of Fort Payne, Ala. Mrs. Brumfield is also survived by her longtime great friends and sisters-in-laws, Louise Starr, Janet Maynard and Darlene Bias. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other special friends. Emogene donated her body to the Marshall University Human Gift Registry. As she gave so much to so many in her life, she continued to give in her death. A memorial service to honor her life and legacy will be held at Jefferson Avenue Church of God on March 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Ray Farley and Pastor Rod Justice officiating. FRANCES L. FORTNER NELSON, 87, of Kenova, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 5, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va. She was born August 30, 1924, in Kenova, a daughter of the late Walker and Sarah Rhoda Perry Fortner. Frances was a faithful member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church in Huntington. She had worked as a rural route mail carrier and she was a dedicated homemaker to her family. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband Paul Leslie Nelson; a daughter Janice Shelton; two sisters Imogene Byer and Gladys Fortner and two brothers Harold and John Fortner. She is survived by one son Leslie R. Nelson; a daughter June Hatten and her husband James; three sisters, Della Mae Robertson, Mary Trytek and Joann Quiggins; three brothers, Paul, Sam and Dick Fortner; five grandchildren, Terri (Chuck) Wentz, Greg (Cindy) Hatten, Lisa (Dolf) Fischer, Gail (Brian) Hunter and Gavin (Crystal) Hatten; nine great-grandchildren, Chuckie Wentz, Jacob Hunter, Travis Fischer, Courtney Hatten, Eric Hatten, Jared Hunter, Joey Fischer, Nickolas Hatten and Jordann Hatten and a very special sister-in-law Ellie Fortner. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Heritage Nursing Home for their care of Frances. THOMAS DONALD "BOKIE" McCANN, 71, of Dunlow, WV, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Dunlow Freewill Baptist Church, of which he was a member, with Pastor Russell Watts and Brother Luther Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at the McCann Family Cemetery at Dunlow. He was born July 28, 1940 at Delbarton, WV, a son of the late Nick and Thena Blair McCann. A brother, Dennis Monroe Jarrells and a nephew, William Browning, also preceded him in death. Survivors include a sister, Mary (George) Browning; and three brothers, James (Sarah) Jarrells of Dunlow, WV, Jack McCann of Summersville, GA, and Eddie (Stella) McCann of Alabama. TERESA LYNN GRIMMETT EARP, 49, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Man, W.Va., departed this life on Monday, March 5, 2012 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morma and Nina Grimmett, and Ira and Mae Vincell; three uncles, Bradly Grimmett, William McQuithy, and Jack Doliver Grimmett; two aunts, Cherly Grimmett, and Clara Mae; and two nephews, Terry Lee Mosley and Christopher Aaron Elkins. Survivors include her parents, Clayton Grimmett of Fort Gay, W.Va., and JoAnn Smith of Myrtle Beach; four sisters, Clara Sue Elkins and Jack Grimmett of Mallory, W.Va., Marie Blanch and husband Timothy of Maryland, JoAnna Kaye Mosley and her husband Jamie of Fort Gay, and Phyllis Rice and her husband Jerry of Conway, S.C.; four brothers, Dwayne Grimmett and his wife Henrietta, and Clayton Grimmett Jr., all of Genoa, W.Va., Ernest Balridge of Myrtle Beach, and Rodney Lee Balridge of Georgia; six nieces; and six nephews. Teresa was a member of Baker’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Smithville, N.C., and she loved all her family dearly. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at New Hope Community Church with Rev. Larry Osborne and Brother Dwayne Grimmett officiating. IONA AGNES CONN, age 88, of Wellington, KY died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center of Morehead, KY. Iona was born July 14, 1923 in Crum, WV. She is the daughter of the late Edgar and the late Fonnie (Little) Eggers. She was predeceased by her husband, Lesley Conn Sr. who died in 1991. She was a Homemaker and member of the Church of Christ She is survived by two daughters: Edgaretta Marcum of Wellington, KY, Charlene Webb of Morehead, KY and four sons: Lesley Conn Jr. of Louisa, KY, John Conn, of Monroe, NC, Tony Conn of Crum, WV, Danny Bruce Conn of Crum, WV. The funeral was held 2:00 pm Friday, March 9, 2012 at Wilson Funeral Home with Elder Jessie Spaulding officiating. Burial followed in Yatesville Memorial Gardens. MYRTLE ELIZABETH DEAN MAYNARD, 73, of Kiahsville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was born June 21, 1938 in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Millard and Louedith Dean. Her husband, Andrew Maynard also preceded her in death along with infant daughter, Iris Lynn Maynard, one sister, Iris Irvin, and one brother, Gordon Dean. Myrtle was a member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Kiahsville. She leaves behind two daughters, Mary Maynard and her fiancé Kenneth Crum, and Millie Brooks and her husband Lige, all of Kiahsville; two sons, Jackie Maynard and his wife Freda and Joey Maynard and his wife Karen, all of Wayne, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Andy, Matt, JoJo, Brody, and Brandi Maynard, Billy Ramey, and Justin and Jeremy Brooks; and three great-grandchildren, Jayden Ramey, and Rowen and Benton Maynard. Also surviving are five sisters, Phyllis Ferrell of Elizabethtown, Pa., B. Elaine Frost of Wheelersburg, Oh., Millie Ferrell and her husband Steve of McMinnville, Tenn., Sandra Kay Wriston and Kathryne Rosen, both of Ravenna, Oh.; three brothers, Millard Fullen Dean Jr., and his wife Dianna of Frankfort, Ky., James D. Dean and wife Kathy of Wayne, W.Va., and Randy Dean and his wife Barbara of Huntington; and caregiver and friend, Renee Adkins of Kiahsville. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House staff for their loving care during this time. CARLOTTA HOLBROOK CYRUS, 59, of Carmel, Indiana formerly of Louisa passed away Thursday evening, March 8, 2012, at her home. Carlotta was born May 18, 1952 at West Liberty, KY the daughter of the late Carl and Wanda Ingram Holbrook. She was a Registered Nurse with the Neo-Natal Unit. She is survived by her loving husband Tom Cyrus, two brothers Randall and Byron Holbrook both of Louisa; a beloved sister-in-law Karen Barnette also of Louisa; special nieces and nephews Amy, Kyle, Michael, Eric, and Amanda. Funeral services were conducted by Bro. Ric Frazier on Monday March 12th at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Cyrus Cemetery at Louisa.

ROGER CARROLL ADKINS, 68, of Titusville, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Parrish Medical Center, Titusville, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jamie Gump. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova. He was born April 4, 1943 in Kenova, W.Va., a son of Gladys Warf Adkins and the late Carroll Adkins. Additional survivors include a brother Gregory Kent Adkins of Titusville; sister Kristi Lynne Adkins of Titusville; sister-in-law Debra Kay Adkins of Titusville; nieces Carly Marie Hart of Cary, North Carolina and Kimberly Lauren Adkins of Titusville; nephew Jonathan Ray Hart of Cary, North Carolina; aunts and uncles Ollie and Linda Warf of South Point, Ohio, James Diamond of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Rilda Egan of Huntington, W.Va. SHELIA KAYE PERRY REDDING, 55, of Kenova, W.Va., died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. She was born October 6, 1956, in Sterling, Ill., a daughter of the late Fisher H. and Beulah Faye Saunders Perry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Russell Paul Redding. She is survived by two daughters, Stacey Faye Perry of Ft. Gay, W.Va., and Sarah Nona Redding of Fairburn, Ga.; three sisters, Barbara Atkins of Prichard, W.Va., Lisa Booth of Ceredo, W.Va., and Vaughna Boyle of Huntington; her aunts Roberta Saunders, Sadie Hazlett and Fern Kegly; an uncle Paul Saunders; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Byard officiating. MARY ADKINS CLAY, 87, of East Lynn W.Va., went to be with our Lord on March 11, 2012, at her residence. She was a member of Nestlow Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary was born on September 16, 1924, to the late Henry and Marcella Davis Adkins. Her husband, Ancil Clay also preceded her in death along with her son Tony Clay; grandson Steven Eugene Clay; great-grandson Nathan Robert Clay; two brothers Wilson Adkins and Willard Adkins. Survivors include four sons Henry Clay, Roger (Mary) Clay, Robert (Teresa) Clay, all of East Lynn, and Eugene (Brenda) Clay of Wayne, W.Va.; one daughter Doris (David) Wilson of Genoa; three grandsons, Aaron Clay, Timothy Clay and Adam Clay; three granddaughters Mary Wilson Henderson, Lori Ann Clay and Ashley Clay; one great-granddaughter, Sydney Taye Callaway; and the grandchildren of her heart Isiah, Bailey Tyler, Dalten, Dakota, Isabella and Victoria. She is also survived by her twin sister Martha Adkins of Branchland, W.Va.; and one brother William "Mack" Adkins of Branchland. She will be missed by the many family, neighbors and friends who sat at her table in fellowship always leaving there well-fed and enriched by her presence. We want to thank her two caregivers for the love and respect they showed our mother during her illness. JEREMY REECE LARSEN, 24, of Huntington died Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Chesapeake, Ohio. He was born July 11, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Larsen was preceded in death by his mother Nina (McCoy) Larsen, his father Thomas William Larsen who passed on Monday, March 12, 2012. He is survived by a brother Timothy Wayne Dillon, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. , 93, of Shoals, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2012. She was born on April 20, 1918 in Summersville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ernest and Maggie McClung. Preceding her in death was her husband of 29 years Harold M. Perdue and her second husband of 14 years Wayne Williams. She was also preceded in death by brothers Elvie and Okla McClung of Summersville, W.Va., and sister Elizabeth Tiano of Phoenix, Ariz. Surviving sisters are Isabelle Sweeney and Lillian Ramsey. Survivors include her four children and spouses, Harold and Janice Perdue, Sharon Houchin and companion Richard Stuart, Phillip and Brenda Perdue, Beth and Mike Murphy, all of Shoals; step-sons Gene and Emory Williams; grandchildren and spouses Troy and Marsha Houchin, Cherai Stapleton, Rusty Perdue, Amy and Jeff Ash, Heather and Tony Wheeler, Reta and Marc Collins, Seana and Rob Eck, Wade Murphy and his fiance Kathryn Bell; great-grandchildren Cody and Maggie Houchin, Solomon and Brighton Stapleton, Brandon and Brooklynn Ash, Keaton Perdue, Reid and Sulley Collins, Oakley and Vance Wheeler and Finley and Coral Eck. She was a faithful servant of Shoals Baptist Church. She was a loving and generous person who touched the lives of many; she was everyone's Granny. DENNIS RICE, 83, of Wayne, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. He was born October 23, 1928 in Wayne County, a son of the late John and Mary Elizabeth Rice. One son, James Rice also preceded him in death. Dennis served his country honorably in the US Army and was a member of the Wayne Church of God. He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, June Rice; one daughter, Jeanie Blankenship and her husband Forrest; one son, Michael Rice; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey Rice and Alisha Tabor, all of Wayne; and two great-grandchildren, Jaried Blankenship, also of Wayne, and Olivia M. Mott of Huntington, W.Va. Also surviving are two brother, Arbie Rice and his wife Ida of Wayne, Richard Rice and his wife Betty of Huntington, Dewey Rice and his wife Alice of Wayne; two sisters, Arbutis Moore and her husband Estel and Deloris Queen and her husband Gary, all of Wayne; and a host of friends and family. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Otis Bowen and Pastor Scott Marshall officiating. GEORGE BERNARD KIRWAN of Huntington, died March 18, 2012, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Kingston, Pa., in February, 1929. JERRY LEE MAYNARD, 67, of Ceredo, W.Va., went home to the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2012. Jerry was born in Williamson, W.Va., September 30, 1944. He was preceded in death by his father Willis Maynard, Jr., PVT. Jerry leaves behind his twin sons Jeremy Maynard of Ashland, Ky., and Tyler Maynard of Ceredo; a daughter-in-law Regina Maynard of Ashland; his grandchildren Reece Stevenson and Gavin Maynard of Ashland; his mother Muriel Salyers; his brother and sister-in-law Tom and Joyce Maynard; a nephew Bryan Maynard; an uncle and aunt Alvis and Leona Brown; and many other relatives and friends. Jerry was a retired lab tech with Ashland Oil, Inc., in Catlettsburg, Ky. He was a 1962 graduate of C-K High School. Before working for Ashland Oil, Jerry was a local barber in Kenova, W.Va. He was an avid custom car restorer, a Marshall athletics fan and a frequent caller of local talk radio. Jerry was a member of the First Independent Missionary Baptist Church of Kenova. CLIFTON CHILDERS, 72, of Louisa, Ky. died March 27, 2012 at J J. Jordan Geriactric Center. He was born August 7, 1937 at Richardson, Ky. to Harmon and Dorothy Martin Childers. He was a member of Richardson Primative Baptist Church. Childers was a welder at Beach Fork Processing National Mines. Clifton was preceded in death by two daughters; Linda and Brenda Childers, one son; Greg Childers, and two brothers; Lloyd and Glen Childers. He is survived by his wife, Glenda VanHoose Childers. of Louisa, Ky., son James Clinton (Mindy) Childers of Louisa, Ky. and one sister, Marie Childers, of Inez, Ky. Visitation was 5:00 - 9:00 p.m Friday at Young Funeral Home. Family will gather at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Young Funeral Chapel with Elder Tommy Meade officiating. ROBERT WAYNE ADKINS, 51, of South Charleston, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Charleston Area Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, W.Va.,with Rev. James McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne. He was born on July 20, 1960, to Bill Wilson Adkins and Betty Ferguson Adkins. He was a self-employed private investigator and previously worked as an inspector for the WV ABCC. Robert was a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son Robert Matthew Adkins of Charleston and three brothers, Bill Douglas Adkins (Alice) of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Bruce Edward Adkins (Debbie) of Mason County, W.Va., and David Michael Adkins (Lana) of Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel.

ESSIE HELEN WORKMAN, 70, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. She was born June 1, 1941 to Henry and Nannie Holbrook Kelly of Webbville,Ky. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Robinette. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Holbrook, Louisa, Ky. and Marie Bergman of Mobile, Alabama, two sons; Mack Robinette of Sterling, Ohio and John Robinette of Lodi, Ohio. One sister, Cora Lee Crabtree, of Arizona, and one brother Henry Kelly of Burbank, Ohio. ANNE MARIE HARBOUR VON SCHRILTZ, 62, of Lawrenceville, Ga., passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012. She is survived by her mother, Bernice Noble Powell, Ceredo, W.Va.; and sister, Carla Dawn Harbour, Lawrenceville, Ga. Ms. Von Schriltz was born September 8, 1949, in Kenova, W.Va. She was a 1967 graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School in Kenova, W.Va., attended Marshall University and studied at Precept Ministries, Chattanooga, Tenn. She was employed with AT&T as a systems administrator manager in Alpharetta, Ga. She was a member of 12Stone Church in Lawrenceville, Ga., and a member of the Georgia Quilting Guild in Atlanta, Ga., and Night Stitchers. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1120 Poplar Street, Kenova, WV, with Pastor Ron Page officiating. SHELBY "Pete" PETERS, 91, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Heritage Center. He was born July 1, 1920 in Wayne County, a son of the late Dewey W. and Ursula Bone Peters. He retired as a Crew Leader at Owens-Illinois. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by his wife Opal E. Peters; three brothers, Elby, Darrell and Doug Peters. He is survived by a son and daughter Bruce (Peggy) Peters of Barboursville, Becky (Jim) Rossi of Columbus, Ohio; two step-sons Bill (Brenda) Price of Columbus and David (Sharon) Price of Huntington; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a sister Marjorie Morrison and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by the Rev. Mike Lacy. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. BEATRICE RUNYON ADKINS, 86, of Kenova, W.Va., passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. RACHEL STEVENS, 79, of Louisa, Ky., died March 30, 2012, following a short illness in the J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center, Louisa. She was born June 13, 1932, in Naugatuck, W.Va., a daughter of Sheridan and Eliza Hensley Bailey. She was a housewife a member of the United Baptist faith. Proceeding her in death is her husband, Andrew Stevens, who died in 1993. Survivors include her five daughters, Mary Mulkey of Grundy, Va., Fannie Fansler of Chino Valley, Ariz., Lula Rakow of Fort Gay, Verta Stevens of Grundy, Effie Barker of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; three sons, Hon Stevens of Kuttawa, Ky., William Stevens of Louisa, Benjamin Stevens of Carlin, Nevada; one sister, Nancy Reed of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Theo Bailey of Columbus and Ben Bailey of Lovely, Ky.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born March 7. 1952 in Louisa, Ky., a daughter of the late Ben and Lexie Irene Caudill Lemaster. She was a housewife and a member of Open Bible Church. ERIC WAYNE ADKINS, 33, of Kenova, W.Va. went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 31, 2012. He was born April 24, 1978 in Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by his mother, Cora "Pinky" Adkins of Kenova,; his father, Wayne Adkins of Genoa, W.Va.; one daughter, Alexia "Alex" Adkins of Kenova; one brother, Jason Adkins also of Kenova; and uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and neighbors too numerous to mention. Eric was a loving father and formerly a cross country truck driver. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home.
