JOSA "JO" BELLE BENNETT, 92, of Huntington passed from this life on November 1, 2015. Born on June 9, 1923, to the late Elba and Emily Booth, she was the last remaining member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Bennett Sr. (Nov. 5, 1971), daughter Donna Sue Bennett (July 25, 2014) and also by four loving brothers and three loving sisters. Jo is survived by her son Harold "Mike" Jr and wife Pam Bennett of Ridgeley, W.Va. Also, she is survived by her grandson Jonathan and wife Ashley Bennett and granddaughter Amanda Bennett, all of Ridgeley, W.Va., and numerous nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren. Jo was retired from Wayne County Schools having worked at Buffalo High and Kellogg Elementary as a cook; a loyal member of the Western Friendship Club and also Grace Gospel Church. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was known for her delicious meals by which no one ever went away hungry. Jo will be greatly missed and the family wants to thank the staff at the Heritage Center in Huntington for the many years of wonderful love and care extended to Jo during her time there. Family and friends will be gathered at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, W.Va., on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. with funeral services on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne, W.Va.

BRYCE MICHAEL LEWIS 15, of Huntington, son of Chasity Shaffer Bias and Eric Scott Bias, died passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Kenova by Pastor Greg Page. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. He was born June 20, 2000 in Wheeling, WV. Bryce was a freshman at Spring Valley High School where he was a member of the football team. He was also a member of the Buffalo Babe Ruth Baseball Team and the Buffalo Middle School Basketball Team. He enjoyed fishing and riding 4 wheelers with his cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Helen and Charles Redd; maternal grandmother Dorothy Sands; cousin Justin Welshhans and uncle George Shedlock. Survivors include his father Todd Lewis of Wheeling; brothers Ethan Bias and Dustin Shedlock; sister Aubrie Lewis; grandparents Dorsey and Faye Bias; paternal grandparents Tom and Karen Boston and several aunts, uncle and cousins and best friend Brad Peyton. Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday at Spring Valley High School and from 11 am until service time on Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Kenova. NANCY J. NAPIER, 87, of Genoa died Nov. 1, 2015, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1927 in Wayne County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late French and Sally Mathis Napier. Her husband, Ervin Napier also preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Susie Harvey and Ruby Queen, and one grandson, David Napier. Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church. She leaves behind five sons, Coy Napier (Lynne) of Florence, Ky., Golden Napier (Kitty) of Genoa, W.Va., Ervin Napier Jr. (Becky) of Athalia, Oh., Oscar Napier (Joyce) of Huntington, W.Va., and French Napier (Tabbie) of Wayne; three daughters, Mildred Lewis (Dewey Johnson) of Huntington, Jeanie Henson and her fiancé Dale Ashworth of Milton, W.Va., and Jill McComas (Bill) of Wayne; 23 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. Also surviving are five brothers, Hudson Napier, Austin Napier, Vester Napier (Fern), French Napier (Deloris), and Andy Napier (Freda); two sisters, Julie Smith and Sally Smith (Lowell); and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the John Napier Cemetery, Genoa. EARL MICHAEL SEAGRAVES, 67, of Kenova, W.Va. passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 5, 2015 at Rollins Funeral Home with Eulogist Jess Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Earl was born November 21, 1947 in Louisa, Ky. a son of the late Virgil and Evelyn Napier Seagraves. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served 18 months in Vietnam and he was a member of the American Legion Post 93 whose Honor Guard will conduct graveside rites. Earl was a former detail man for Ron’s Cars in Kenova. Survivors include his beloved wife Lynn Seagraves, one daughter Sherry Lynn Frantz of Mansfield, Ohio, four grandchildren Eddy Plymale, Jerrodin Willy, Renney Plymale and Joslyn Snider and two brothers Jerry Napier of Kenova and Kenny Napier of Florida. LINDA C. BUSH, 68 of Huntington, WV passed away on November 4, 2015. She was born on May 22, 1948 in Huntington, WV; a daughter of Dorothy Lee (Wilson) Gibson and the late Joseph Lee Gibson. Linda was a loving mother and worked as a CNA in her younger days taking care of others. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her mother, Dorothy Lee (Wilson) Gibson; her only daughter, Donna Mayo (Tim) and her only son David Williams; one brother, richard Gibson (Brenda). Also surviving are her grandchildren: Krystal Hutchinson, Katie Nida, Anthony Williams, Kandice fuller, David fuller, Sommer Williams, and Zack Williams and a host of great-grandchildren. CHERYL LYNN TYREE, 61, of Huntington, wife of Thomas L. Tyree, DDS, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, after a battle with cancer. She was born February 19, 1954, in Mullens, W.Va., a daughter of the late Johnny A. and Ernestine Agnes Webb Aliff. She was the office manager at her husband Tom's dental practice in Kenova. Cheryl was a member of the Kenova Business Association, volunteered for the Special Olympics for the past 30 years, and was a former coach for girls' softball. In addition to her loving husband Tom, survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Traci and Leon Agnew of Suwanee, Ga., and Tanya and Kyle Sargent of Louisville, Ky.; her beloved grandchildren Donivan, Kyleigh, Jayln, Mya, Ashley and Jackson; her sisters and brothers-in-law Karen and Rick Boone of Lexington, Ky., Joetta and Dave Walker of Oceana, W.Va., and Robin Trainor of Monroe, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law John and Rhonda Aliff of Bluefield, W.Va., and Richie and Kara Aliff of Florence, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Her love for her family was unconditional and her greatest joy was spending time with them. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington or the American Cancer Society. BARBARA JEAN RICHARDS, 66, of Genoa, West Virginia, formerly of Lincoln County, went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2015. She was born June 12, 1949, in Tango, W.Va., a daughter of Delphia Jean Tudor and the late Ernest Tudor. She is also preceded in death by her grandson Joseph Mullins IV. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Shoemaker (Jeff); three sons, Richard Stanley, Jeff Stanley (Amy) and Mark Stanley; six sisters, Doris Sovine (Gary), Dorothy Breedlove (Danny), Ruth Tudor, Edna Meadows (Terry), Connie Lilly (Pat) and Judy Cooper (Allen Doneff); two brothers, Ralph Tudor (Teresa) and Jackie Tudor and eight grandchildren, Joshua Mullins, Kristina Mullins, Austin Shoemaker, Tari Ashworth, Jacob Stanley, Brayden Stanley, Brynnleigh Stanley and Christopher Stanley. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Pastor Brandon Dailey officiating. HELEN WHEELER PACK COLVIN, 90, of Kenova, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 7, 2015 at Rollins Funeral Home with Eulogist Samuel T. Colvin officiating. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. Helen was born June 3, 1925 in Paintsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Albert Tracy and Elizabeth Wheeler Pack. She was a graduate of Pikeville College and Marshall University. Helen was a retired teacher having taught for 30 years- 3 years in Kentucky and 27 years in Wayne County at Kenova elementary. She was the first director of Head Start in Wayne County. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Marcum Chapter #61, retired School employees, Alpha Delta Kappa and the 39th Street United Baptist Church in Ashland. She was Past President of several groups- the Kenova Woman’s Club, Friends of C-K Library, Kenova Elementary P.T.A. and Ceredo- Kenova High School P.T.A. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Samuel Forrest Colvin, Jr. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David Forrest Colvin Forrest Colvin (Kate), Andrew Brock Colvin and Samuel Franklin Colvin and three great-grandchildren Liam, Jackson and Rowan. RUTH HELEN STEWART-EAVES, 68 of Kenova, in the eyes of her husband Dennis and children Sean Smith, Danny Smith, Sara Newman, Larry (Laura) Smith, and Chris (erica) Eaves as well as her sisters Dottie Hatten, Nancy (Ronnie) Fannin and Beatrice "Cookie" (Jack) Stevens and brother Earnest "Butch" Stewart was just that. Ruth was born March 9, 1947 and crossed her finish line Wednesday November 4, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Stewart and Edna Newman-Duncan, also preceding her in death a brother Fred Stewart and a son William "Billy Joe" Smith. She labored at Corbin Ltd. and following her mother’s death she and her twin sister Nancy assumed ownership of Edna’s Custom’s Drapes having hung drapes in homes and businesses throughout the Tri-State, but that work does not describe who Ruth was and is to her family. Ruth cherished her family especially her grandchildren: Sara, Sean, James, Wyatt, Summer, Seth, Evan, Sarah, Abby, Ethan and her great-granddaughter McKinnley and each of her favorite nieces and nephews whom loved her dearly. She made the best of every opportunity trying to instill in all of her family the need to "keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life." (Jude 21, eSV) Cancer may have destroyed her earthly body, but nothing caused her spirit to waiver in trusting in the "great physician." She was a member of the Kenova Church of Christ. Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, by her request, at a graveside service on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Crescent Hill Cemetery conducted by Ministers Amos Prince and ChrisStevens (her nephew). LINDA GAIL PERRY, 70, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away at home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born July 1, 1945 in Pikeville, Ky., a daughter of the late Perry and Laura Thacker Hunt. Her sister Kay Sanders also preceded her in death along with three brothers, Robert Hunt, Rodney Hunt, and Hansel Hunt. Linda was retired from the Board of Education with 42 years service and a member of the Wayne Church of Christ. She leaves behind her husband Philip Perry; two sons Gregory Perry and his wife Connie of Huntington, and Robert Perry of Kenova, W.Va.; and grandchildren, Brooke Perry, Logan Perry, Lauryn Perry, Kaylin Perry, Josh Perry, and "hand-picked" grandsons Brad Koeppen and Adam evicks. Also surviving is one sister, Dorothy Madden of Columbus, Oh., and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Johnson Tiller funeral Home with Minister Ronnie ross officiating. friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

BERT PATRICK BAYS "Buck", 71, of Lavalette, WV, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, with Pastor Paul Michael Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. He was born January 16, 1944 at Huntington, WV, son of the late James H. and Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Moss Bays. Buck was the CEO and President of D.J. Manufacturing, Inc. and was a past board member of the former Lavalette State Bank and the Wayne Community Center. He was a former Little League Baseball coach for nearly years. He was a member of the Guyan Golf and Country Club, Silo Golf Club, Sugarwood Golf Club and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose golf league. He was also preceded in death two sons, James Donald "J. D." Bays and Bert Patrick Bays, Jr., a sister, Patty Ann Estep, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie and Charles Ferguson, and special uncle, James Hutchinson. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Ferguson Bays; a daughter, Kim Smith (Pee Wee) of Lavalette, WV; a son, Chuck Bays (Mendy) of Kenova, WV; a sister, Harriett Beckett (Dane) of Huntington, WV; brother, James "Spud" Bays (Sandy) of Proctorville, OH; granddaughters Kelsey Smith, Courtney Bays, and Lakin May; and very special grandsons Willie, Cody and D.J. Bays and Patrick Scott; great granddaughters Haley, Aubrey, Izzy, Mila, Jaden and Jemma- rose, his brothers and sisters in law Jackie Ferguson (Ernestine) Markham, Illinois and Larry Ferguson (Carolyn) of Statesville, NC. Bucky is also survived by his very special DJ family, very special Aunt Harriett Hutchinson and his special friends, Ray Parks, Stew Edwards, Roy Ellis, Lee Oxley, Jack Nistendirk, Ted Bryan and Glenn Asbury, numerous nieces, nephews and golf buddies. The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Robert Turner, Dr. Valsecchi and the Oncology Unit at St. Mary’s Medical Center particularly Natalie, Tiffany, Debbie, Margo, James, Barb, Chelsi, Johnny, Rachel, Kelly, and Scott from respiratory and his HIMG Chemo Girls Dixie, Rhonda, Kim and Mary. VIVIAN DINGESS, 77, of Scottown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, with Brother Luther Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at the Finley Cemetery, Dunlow, WV. Vivian was born on August 25, 1938 at Branchland, WV, to the late Lacy and Sylvia Mullins Coalgrove. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Orvil Dingess, sister Helen Ramey and infant daughters Leah Mechanic and Misty Dingess. Survivors include two daughters Maria Ramey and husband Clifford of Lavalette, WV, and Michelle Boggs and husband Robert of Scottown, Ohio, one son David Dingess and wife Anita of Pataskala, Ohio and two brothers Roger Coalgrove of Willowood, Ohio and Lacy Coalgrove of Etna, Ohio. Vivian is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

TARA LYNN WEBB, 27, of Lesage, WV, wife of Sean Mikhail Webb, was rescued by the Lord early Saturday morning, November 7, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, from injuries sustained from a tragic car accident. She was born October 18, 1988 in Gainesville, FL. She was a homemaker, loving wife and devout mother. Their infant son, Izik Mikhail Webb preceded her in death November 18, 2012. In addition to her husband, Sean, survivors include her mother, Romona Marcum Smith and husband, Jerry Smith of Cattletsburg, KY; her father, Steven Griffin and wife, Renee Griffin of Moultrie, GA; her brothers, Nick Carter and Lee Smith, Jr., both of Cattletsburg, KY; her sister, Kristi Jorden, of Moultrie, GA; her nieces Alexis Vega of Moultrie, GA; and Annabelle Carter of Cattletsburg, KY; Her very special nephews, Izaiah and Noah Carter, both of Cattletsburg, KY; and her mother-in-laws, Terri Mullins and husband, Richard Mullins of Lesage, WV, and Pamela Preston and husband Jeffery Preston, of Wayne, WV. She is also survived by her non maternal sisters, Kayla Beth Adkins, of Wayne, WV; Ashley Martin, of Charleston, WV; Shannon Gallagher, of Kenova, WV. A celebration of her life with family and friends will take place Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, Wayne, WV. ARCHIE EPLING, 86, of Wayne, WV, passed peacefully, Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, by Minister Ron Ross officiating. Burial will follow at the Curnutte Cemetery, Radnor, WV. He was born July 28, 1929 near East Lynn, WV, a son of the late Gar and Ellen (Davidson) Epling. In addition to his parents, Arch was preceded in death by his wife Carol (Curnutte) Epling; seven brothers, Oscar, Theodore, Lucian, Forrest (Hank), Cossie, Emil, and Garfield, Jr.; seven sisters Esta Parsons, Lakie Sanders, Elmo Mills, Elva Jackson, Betty Toler, Inez Epling, and Ivy Epling. He is survived by a son Douglas (Glenna) Epling, and a grandson Ryan D. Epling, whom he dearly loved, all of Wayne, WV. Additional survivors include brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Charles (Peggy) Curnutte of Radnor, WV, Ralph (Barbara) Cox, Esta Epling and Catherine Epling, all of Wayne, WV; plus numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Arch was a member of the Church of Christ. Arch loved his family, church, and friends, as well as his pets. He was a retired truck driver. The family would like to thank the staff at the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful and kind care. GNUENELL SUTFIN, 89 of Kenova, WV passed away at river’s Bend Health Care, LLC on Sunday, November 8, 2015. She was born on February 15, 1926 in Kenova, WV. She was the daughter of the late John Walker Sutfin and Hattie (Pyles) Sutfin. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her nieces, Mary Sutfin and Carol Sutfin and her nephews, John Sutfin, Jim Sutfin and Lew Sutfin. She was so very appreciative of the wonderful love and care she received from her nieces. Arrangements are incomplete and Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.

MARGARET "MARGIE" ADKINS THOMPSON, 89, of Huntington, loving wife and mother, died Monday, November 9, 2015, in Madison Park. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m, Thursday, November 12, 2015, by the Rev. Gary Patton at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time. Margie was born February 26, 1926, in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Boyd Adkins and Fern Mills Adkins McComas. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jack Albert Thompson; her son Ronald Jack Thompson; sisters and brother Mary Lewis, Marie Gossett and Clifford Adkins; one half-sister, two half-brothers and three step-sisters. Margie worked with her husband for many years at Quality Fruit and Produce Company. She was a faithful member of the 26th Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter Linda Karen "K.T." Thompson of Huntington; one sister, Beverly McNeely and husband Roger of Huntington; and a host of nieces and nephews. BOBBIE ERNESTINE CHAMBERS, 86, of Ceredo, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015, at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin L. Mackey officiating. Bobbie was born July 15, 1929, in Hardy, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ruby Lewis. She was a retired teacher having taught in the Boyd County School System. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Westmoreland NSDAR, and a Kentucky Colonel. Besides her mother, Bobbie was also preceded in death by her grandparents Jacob and Eva Lewis and a precious granddaughter Sarah Skean. Survivors include a daughter Wylma Skean of Ceredo, a son and daughter-in-law Jonathan Skean (Margaret) of Huntington, and a beloved granddaughter Katie Skean (Mark Coleman) of Lincoln, Nebraska. DONALD RAY MARCUM, 79, passed away at his residence in Columbus, Ohio on November 12, 2015. He was a father of two, genealogist, writer, diesel mechanic, and Champ Cart race car driver. Donald was 1 of 9 children born to Roy and Polly (Spaulding) Marcum of Mingo County, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Leroy "Bob" Marcum, Earl Marcum and Eugene "Trigger" Marcum, and 1 sister, Ida Belle Morrissey, all of Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his 2 children, Melissa (Tim) Monfort of Columbus, Ohio and Andrea Marcum of Lexington, KY, and his 2 grandchildren, Alexandrea Marlowe and Timothy Dakota Ray Monfort, both of Columbus, Ohio; by his 2 brothers, Columbus Carl (Arvella) Marcum of Wayne, West Virginia and Ulysses "Les" (Phyllis) Marcum of Marengo, Ohio; and by his 2 sisters, Edna (Charles) Reichert of Brandon, Florida and Elizabeth "Babs" Compton of Seffner, Florida. The visitation will be held on Monday, November 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 3393 Broadway Street in Grove City, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm. MYRTLE "Hookie" SHORT, 80, of Crum, WV passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at her home. She was born November 16, 1934 in Crum, WV a daughter of the late Wade Chaffins and the late Rosa Copley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Webb Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Short. Myrtle loved animal especially her dogs and cats. Survivors include, Craig and Barbara Williamson of Webb, WV; Matt and Vanessa Williamson Spaulding of Bulls Gap, TN; and a host of friends and neighbors. BARRY GENE BELCHER, 64, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, with Pastor Mike Dillon officiating. Burial followed at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. He was born on September 8, 1951, to Virginia Ball Belcher of Longwood, Florida and the late Elmer Belcher. Barry worked for the Corp of Engineers at East Lynn Lake for many years and was also an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Wetzel and Maxi Ball. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon Belcher, three sons, B.J. Belcher (Amy) of Columbus, Ohio, Joshua Belcher of Wheeling, WV, and Nick Belcher (Diane) of Lavalette, WV. Barry is also survived by his brother Gary Belcher of Satellite Beach, Florida and three grandchildren, Bryson, Ella and Emma Belcher, as well as a large, loving extended family. FERN CONSTANCE ARROWOOD, 82, of Lavalette, WV., passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 of congestive heart failure at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Fern was born on December 29, 1933 in Wayne County, WV, the daughter of the Late Aletha and Ralph Pyles. Fern was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Porter and Esther Porter, four brothers Namon, Elton, Fisher and Jennings Pyles. Also preceded her in death was her first husband and father of their children Ransom Kelly Blankenship. Fern was a retired EKG technician at the Cabell Huntington Hospital after 28 years of service. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. Fern is survived by her husband of 44 years H.R. "Hank" Arrowood and three children Sharon(Ira) Queen of Culloden, WV; Eddy Blankenship of West Palm Beach, Fl.: Cheryl (Douglas) Faull of Fairfax, VA., and three grandchildren, Nola Queen of Culloden, WV, Alison "Krissy" Queen of Winchester, KY, and Shawn Faull of Fairfax, VA. Also surviving are a brother Alpha Jay Pyles of Mansfield, Oh., and sister Arbutus Pratt of Port Charlotte, FL. There will be no visitation or funeral services. ELOISE FERRELL MALCOLM PERRY, 95 of Buffalo (Wayne) West Virginia died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at home. Eloise was born May 8, 1920 in Huntington, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Omar and Bertha (Baumgardner) Ferrell, two husbands J. Richard Malcolm and Virgil L. Perry. She is survived by one daughter Janne Malcolm Rice and her husband Bob. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robert Rice (wife, Jennifer) of Huntington, Ryan Rice (wife, Vallery) and Holly Litteral (husband Nate) both of Kenova. In addition, she is survived by five great-grandchildren David and Alex Rice of Kenova, Michaela Rice of Huntington and Savannah and Jordan Rice of Garner, NC. She also has two more great-grandchildren expected within the month. Additional survivors include one sister Helen Ferrell Hitchings and one brother Stephen Ferrell. In addition, Eloise leaves many loving family members around Huntington area as well as her church family from Central United Methodist Church where she was a long-time faithful member of the church, the choir, United Methodist Women, Bishop Bible Class and long-time Sunday School Teacher. Eloise graduated in 1938 from Huntington High School. She graduated from Marshall College with a degree in business in 1942. She spent her working days as an Adult Basic Education teacher and learning center coordinator. For 30 years, she spent her leisure time directing the choir of Central United Methodist Church. Upon retirement from that position, she spent the last 22 years on the front row singing soprano. Two of her proudest accomplishments were winning the Tri-State Piano competition two times as a youth. She was in competition with hundreds of others and won first place. For those accomplishments, she was awarded a silver loving cup and a plaque that she so treasured. In her retirement, she enjoyed camping, visiting the beach, spending time with her family and singing in the church choir. As a tribute to Eloise’s love for singing and the choir of Central United Methodist Church, the family is requesting any members who sang in the choir under her direction or sang in the choir with her in the last years to participate in a simple anthem during her memorial service. Anyone who would like to participate is requested to come 15 minutes before the service to practice. Eloise’s last year was spent receiving outstanding care from caregivers June Bowen, Shirlene Hardwick and Regenia Stamper. The family also wishes to extend thanks and appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Huntington for their warm care. Funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend W. Barbara was also preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Redding, son, Roger Dillon, and nephew, Russell Paul Redding. Barbara leaves behind her loving sister, Lisa Booth, grandson, Donald Dillon, a special aunt, Roberta Saunders, a special friend whom she considered more like a sister, Vaughna Boyle, two nieces Stacey Perry and Sarah Redding and three nephews, Joshua, Ryan and Adam Booth and numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Barbara was a graduate of C-K High School, Class of 1956, and was an Administrative Assistant for over twenty years at the Tri-State Airport. She was a member of Woodman of the World and Past Noble Grand Rebecca Lodge #39. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Terry and Katie Akers. Survivors include her beloved husband Dennis L. Adkins, a precious daughter and son-in-law Robin (David) Dunkle of Ceredo, and three special grandsons Bradley (Amanda) Dunkle of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Craig Dunkle of Ceredo and Aaron Dunkle of Ceredo. ELDER RICHARD NAPIER, 83, of Kenova, WV, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV after a courageous battle with cancer. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." (Psalm 23) Richard was born February 7, 1932 on Brush Creek in Wayne County to the late Albert and Dakota Mathis Napier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Launa Watts Napier, daughter Rinda Dean Napier, a sister, Ethel Bauman, and brothers Lark and French Napier, and two infant siblings. He worked at Ensign Electric and for Steel Products in Huntington before retiring. Brother Richard’s spiritual birth was on December 24, 1956. He subsequently became an elder, preaching the gospel of the Lord since 1958. He was a faithful member of Bethlehem United Baptist Church in Kenova, WV where he previously served in the capacity of moderator and assistant moderator. He was a soldier for the Lord laying precious stones along the way for his children to follow. "There is no grief or sorrow in Heaven, God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Rev. 21:4) Richard is survived by his loving wife, Opal Watts Hatfield Napier, who he told days earlier: "I give you my thanks, and my peace I leave with you". In loving memory of his first wife of 55 devoted years, our loving mom and precious mamaw, Launa Watts Napier he leaves behind four loving and devoted daughters, Bonnie (Larry) Dixon, Christene (Mark) Seay, Brinda (Harry) Caniff, and Launa Carol Napier, and Sandy Phipps, a special friend of the family who referred to him as "Dad". Also surviving Richard are his loving grandchildren, Richard (Danielle) Dixon, Michelle (Jeremy) Watson, Christopher Seay and fiance Alex McClarty, Launa Cheri (Joe) Shaffer, Travis Seay, Chelsea Seay and fiancé Chase Lindsey, Rhenda (Justin) Chapman, precious great-grandchildren Luke David Dixon, Landon Dale Dixon, Launa Marley Seay, Sophi Aniyah Seay, and Levi Jaxon Seay, great-great grandchild Charlie Paul Ross, and brothers James (Jean) Napier and Franklin (Betty) Napier. TOMMY E. McCOMAS, 79, of Huntington, passed away Sunday November 22, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Thaddaeus Allen. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. He was born December 31, 1935 in Huntington, a son of the late Clifford Hartzel and Lillian Raines McComas. He was a retired salesman. Tommy was a Cabell Wayne Baseball batting title holder with a record that still stands, coach of Little League #2 West Kiwanis for several years. He was Champion of Champions in the Golden Gloves boxing and represented Huntington at Madison Square Garden, March 9, 1955 in the Open Division. He was a member of the Crescent Lodge #32 AF&AM of Ceredo and was a former Huntington City Police Commissioner. Tommy was a member of the Madison Ave. Christian Church where he had been a deacon. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Sheila "Donna" McComas; children Jeffery D. McComas of San Diego, California, Laura K. Hanley and Phillip A. ANNA LOU MAYNARD, 92, of Glenhayes, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born in Clifford, Ky., on February 10, 1923, the daughter of the late Dan and Nevada Ratcliffe of Glenhayes, West Virginia. Anna was valedictorian of Clifford, Ky., High School class of 1940. Graduating at seventeen, she went on to work for the Wayne County Board of Education, teaching at Horse Creek, Lost Creek and Glenhayes. She continued her college education in the summers, graduating from Marshall University with honors. Upon closure of Glenhayes Elementary, she taught fourth grade at Fort Gay Elementary, and was their first Special Education teacher. Anna was the oldest member of the Glenhayes Baptist Church where she was treasurer till age 90. Anna was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting, bird watching, and wild life. She was a true, Christian lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jack Maynard, brothers, Pearl Ratcliffe of Glenhayes, Bill Ratcliffe of Fort Gay, Roy Ratcliffe of Glenhayes, and sister, Jewell Maynard of Detroit, Michigan. Anna is survived by sisters-in-law, Judy Ratcliffe of Glenhayes, Katheryn Ratcliffe of Fort Gay, Elizabeth Branham of Louisa, Ky., Betty Goodaker of Romulus, Michigan, and brother-in-law Dan Maynard of Wheelersburg, Ohio; Aunt, Hazel Pettit of Columbus, Ohio; Terry Maynard and wife Anna Lee, a nephew of Titusville, Fla., who was raised as a son; her loving nephew, Dannie Maynard of Glenhayes who was her primary caregiver for the last three years. Two grandchildren, Dr. Malinda Maynard Husson and husband David, of Richmond, Va., and Chris Maynard of Huntington, W.Va., as well as three great-grandchildren, Dylan and Cain Maynard, and Alexander Husson. BESSIE LENA CLARK, 90, of Ceredo, WV, widow of Billy M. Clark, passed away Thursday November 26, 2015 at Huntington Health and Rehab, Huntington. RANDALL LEE DAVIS, 77, of Wayne, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Carroll, Ohio. He was born January 21, 1938 in Dodridge County, W.Va., a son of the late Iris and Ruby Mae Adkins Davis. His wife Anna Davis also preceded him in death along with two sons, Vincent Davis and Kendall Davis, and two brothers, Tommy Davis and Jimmy Dale Davis. Randall enjoyed bluegrass music and playing the guitar. He was passionate about hunting, trapping, and fishing and a proud member of the NRA. His proudest achievement was drilling gas and oil wells with his family. Randall was generous to give, especially to those in need and was a recipient of the Community Recognition Award. He leaves behind two daughters, Kelley Snider (Jeff) of Carroll, Ohio; and Brenda Davis (Delmar Bloomer) of Bidwell, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jimmy Potter, Alesha Potter, Denise Keefer, Stephanie Tack, and Amber Davis; many great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Michael Davis of East Lynn, W.Va., Kenneth Davis (JoAnn) of Lawrence County, Ky., and Danny Davis of Huntington, W.Va.; one sister, Nora Gail Spears of Huntington; two uncles Frank Adkins of Ona, W.Va., and Teddy Adkins of Spencer, W.Va.; one aunt, Vivian Adkins of Huntington; and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention. WILLIAM EUGENE MAY, 67, of Ceredo, WV, passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was retiree from Inco Alloy and was a Mason and member of the Crescent Lodge #32 of Ceredo, WV. "Poppy" was born on January 26, 1947 in Huntington, WV to Ostos May and Velma Mae Roach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ostos and Velma May. He is survived by his beloved brother Sam May; his sister Brenda; his two sons, Eugene and Don (Natalie Ferguson); and his daughter Robin. Also surviving are his grandsons, Robbie and Zane; his step-daughter Stephanie; his step-grandchildren Will and Jordan; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Poppy enjoyed being cranky, desserts of all kinds, bacon, a good hunting dog and plaid shirts because, just like his song "po grainy rine therbel saben", it’s good for all occasions! DONALD LEE LANGDON, Jr., 56, of Wayne, WV, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. He was a former warehouseman for Carrol Tire in Orlando, FL and was a member of the Jaycee’s Deaf Club for the Deaf Community of Orlando, FL. Brothers Denver Allen Langdon and Richard Lee Langdon also preceded him in death. Survivors include his companion, Pamela Brennan; two daughters, Guadalupe Langdon of Henderson, NV and Kristina Reko of St. Mary’s, FL; a son, Bruce Lee Langdon (Vivi) of Orlando, FL; a sister, Carolyn Sue Liles (Alvin) of Fort Mill, SC; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Dennis, Jaden, Gavin, Jaxon, and Jayden Langdon; a nephew, Matthew D. DONALD DOUGLAS DOWDY, 74, of Ceredo, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. Born March 25, 1941, he was a son of the late Gilbert Washington Dowdy and Jewell Dean Brunty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry and Tommy Dowdy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Ruth Ann Dowdy; his children, Doug (Linda) Dowdy of Chesapeake, Ohio, Karen (Jim) Scaggs of Huntington, Melanie Miranda of Coconut Creek, Fla., Lisa (Jerry) Bloxsom of Brunswick, Ohio, and Kellie (Eric Jackson) Weidenhammer of Ona, W.Va.; his siblings, Shelia Chapman of Huntington, Roger (Cathy) Dowdy of Huntington, Jimmy (Linda) Dowdy of Huntington, Jerry (Kellisa) Dowdy of Huntington and Norman (Rhonda) Dowdy of Barboursville, Hazel (E.J.) Maynard and Ann (Jerry) Wolford; 15 grandchildren, John, Brooke, Erick, Janel, Joey, Tyler, Kristina, Ricky, Nick, Jake, Ben, Justin, Katie, Rachel and Ali; lifelong brother and sister in Christ and best friends, Ronnie and Brenda Saul, and "adopted daughters" Lynn, Teresa and Beth. Donald was a loving, gentle, kindhearted man with a sweet soul. He cared deeply for others and always had a kind word for everyone he met. Donald's faith in God and his devotion to his wife and family was unwavering. His comforting presence and his genuine, honest spirit will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. PALMEEDA ROSS, 85, of Kiahsville, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1930 in Cove Gap, WV a daughter of the late Lige and Nora Pack Napier. Palmeeda was a homemaker and member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and fought a heroic battle with breast cancer for more than 10 years. Her Husband, Elmer Blaine Ross also preceded her in death, along with two sisters, Elzena Napier and Freeda Dyer ; and two sons-in-law, Otis Dingess and Leslie Dingess. Survivors include six children, Ronnie Ross, Kenneth Ross and wife, Wanda all of Kiahsville, WV, Elijah Ross and wife, Mary of Lorain, OH, Jeanette Dingess, Janice Dingess Joan Williamson and husband, Neal all of Cleveland, OH; a special grandson, Michael Ross of Cleveland, OH and many more beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. RICHARD LOUIS JOHNSON, 55, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2015 after a long battle with lung and bone cancer. He was born March 13, 1960 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Lenoria Jean Napier Johnson. He was an auto mechanic for C B & H Auto Parts and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the beloved husband of Stacy Denise Chinn Johnson for 20 years and was the devoted father of Moriah Scarberry (Tim) and Taylor Norris (Mikey), all of Huntington, WV, and Jeanny Gordon (Patrick) of Wayne, WV. Also surviving are a sister, Debbie Ferguson (Donnie) of Crown City, OH, and three brothers, Charles Johnson (Becky) and David Johnson (Lisa), all of Wayne, WV, and Leonard Johnson of Louisa, KY. SANDRA JEAN MARSHALL, 72, Seneca, Mo., passed into eternal rest at 4:25 p.m., November 27, 2015, at her home in rural Seneca. Sandra Jean Estep was born June 20, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Bob and Helen (Hennessy) Estep. She was a homemaker. Sandy married Frank Marshall on February 2, 1963, in Huntington W.Va., and he survives. Sandy and Frank had lived most of their lives in Wayne, W.Va., and have lived in Seneca the last 12 years. She loved to read and play Mexican Train Dominos and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Additional survivors include two daughters, Vicki Dunkin and husband Rodney and Melissa Green and husband Cale all of Seneca; four grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Estep, Red Boiling Springs, TN and William Estep Jr., Huntington, W.Va. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Estep, her step-mother, Molly Estep; two grandchildren, Bailey Nichole and Brody Nathan. MINNIE QUEEN, 83 of Dunlow, WV formerly of Logan passed away Saturday November 28, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born March 19, 1932 in Logan she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nannie Williamson Workman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four sisters: Georgia Workman, Nora Workman, Millie Workman, and Mae Tomblin. Five brothers: Floyd Workman Jr., Sid Workman, Jess Workman, Ray Workman, Rufus Perry. Mrs. Queen was a homemaker. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband Thomas Queen, her son Buford Crockett Baisden, her sister Bess Lewis of Kissemmee, FL. HERBERT SHAWN COFFMAN, 41, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 28, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. He was born November 15, 1974 in Huntington, WV, a son of Herbert Randall and Magdalene Presley Coffman. He was a very good singer who attended the Central Church of the Nazarene. Herbert was a 1993 Graduate of Vinson High School and was an avid bowler and frisbee golf player. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Elza and Brooke Coffman and maternal grandparents Alvis and Clara Presley and niece Heather Tooley. Additional survivors include his wife of 4 years Kerri Epperly Coffman; brother and sister in law Randall Shane and Tina Coffman of Lavalette, WV; and sister and brother in law Magdalene Brooke and Scott Blatt of Huntington; nieces and nephews Craig Tooley, Hollie and Josh Plybon, Kaitlin Blatt and Joshua Blatt and adopted daughter Snickers.

PAUL MICHAEL BLACK, 67, of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Huntington VA Medical Center. DONALD L. WARD, 84, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at home. He was born June 17, 1931, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late George Washington Ward and Hester Ann McKenzie Ward. Don graduated from Vinson High School, Class of 1950, and was a proud Vinson Tiger who played football for Coach Don Malcolm, winning the state championship in 1948. He served his country honorably during the Korean War in the US Air Force. Don retired from Constellium (Kaiser Aluminum) as a crane operator. He was a member of Bellemead United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post 23 and Loyal Order of Moose, all of Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Fannin Ward; one son, Michael Stephen Ward; a grandson Donald Paul Ward; three brothers, Charles Ward, Clifford Ward and George Ward; and three sisters, Frances Finley, Gertrude Payne and Fay Turner. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Ann and Matthew Martin of Proctorville, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory E. and Cheryl Ward of Milton, W.Va.; grandchildren Jamie Ward of Proctorville, Lianna Ward of Nashville, Tenn., Scott Ward of Proctorville, Meili Martin of Proctorville, and Minda Martin of Proctorville. Also surviving are one sister, Verna Irene (Gary) Keller of Barboursville, W.Va.; a special niece, Patty Blevins of Huntington; and special friends John Thompson and Tom Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the men of Bellemead United Methodist Church for their help. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Rev. Chip Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, PointPleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
