CIVIL WAR INFO. I am a native of Wayne County, from the Beech Fork Area. My grandmother was recently relating a story to me concerning some caves on Beech Fork, which she referred to as the "Zuway Caves". I am spelling this phonetically, as I am not sure of the proper spelling. Apparently some Union soldiers were killed an their bodied placed in these caves during the Civil War. Can anyone share any information on this
subject?

SPAULDING. Andrew Jackson Spaulding was born in 1816 in Colonial Virginia and married Mahala Kirk. Mahala was the daughter of John and Clara (Marcum) Kirk. BLAIR. Working on the family of Benjamin Blair and his wife Amelia Wallis from Russell Co., VA. They had the following children; James 1834, Sarilda 1836, Lucinda 1838, Jaheil T. 1840, Francis Marion 1844 and Sarah F. 1846. They left Russell Co. between 1850-60. In the Wayne Co. marriage records are two Blair marriages, Permelia who married Robert/Hobart White in 1855 and James who married Elen Adams in 1856. HAYTON, FULLER. Visited Wayne County, looking for the Lakin Cemetery, which I found. I was hopeful of finding the graves of Milroy Hayton and his wife, Martha (Fuller) Hayton. I think they are next to Stephen Fuller’s grave, with no markers. Also wish to find the graves of both Joseph Hayton and Moses Hayton for the purpose of erecting Civil War Markers. FULLER, PERRY. Seeking information on George Thomas Fuller who was the son of Calvin and Margaret (McColley) Fuller. Went by his middle name, Thomas, he was born ca 1842 in Pike County, KY. Thomas married on 1/4/1866 at Ashland, KY to Amelia Marion, and they had sons William and Thomas, Jr. George Thomas had siblings Richard Apperson, James Irwin, Frances Marion, Avarine, Elizabeth and Jefferson. His son William’s obit indicates he was born in Fort Gay. Family history says George Thomas was murdered at a saw mill he owned on Big Sandy.
