Porter, and Frank Porter, and a sister and two brothers-in-law, Walter and Ethel Adkins, and Fred Pratt, Jr. Survivors include three daughters, Christene Perry and

DIED – JUNE 3, 2004 ** VINSON WELCH JARRELL, 76, of Florida, formerly of Ceredo, at his home. Born August 16, 1927, in Ceredo, W. Va. He was preceded in

death by three brothers, William, Robert L. and Archie Jarrell; two sisters, Annabel Jarrell and Ruth Wyant. Survivors include his wife, Doris J. Roberts Jarrell; his

DIED – JUNE 5, 2004 ** LARRY DALE ASHWORTH, 56, of Shelby, N.C., formerly of Wayne County and Ohio, in Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby. Born May

26, 1948, a son of the late Alvie and Mary Ross Ashworth. Preceded in death by an infant brother, David Ashworth, his father-in-law, Wallace Canfield. Survivors

include his wife, Sue Ashworth; two sons, Kevin Ashworth and wife Tern and Kyle David Ashworth; three brothers, Ralph Dana Ashworth and wife Dorothy, Dennis

Clinton Ashworth, and Terry Ashworth. Burial held June 12, 2004 in Auburn, Ohio.

DIED – JUNE 5, 2004 ** EUGENE C. VINSON, 79, of Harrisburg, Ore. Born February 11, 1925, in Fort Gay, a son of the late Fred Vinson and Ruby Osburn Vinson.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Wilkinson Vinson; two daughters, Carole Ritter and Rebecca Anderson; two sons, Charles and Dana Vinson. Burial held in

Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.

DIED – JUNE 7, 2004 ** KENNETH E. PARTLOW, 69, of Kenova. Born October 2, 1934, the eldest son of Rebecca M. Adkins Partlow and the late Durward C. Partlow.

Preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. Partlow Jr.; a brother, Clifford Partlow, and a sister, Mary Gibson. Survivors include his wife, Svenna Partlow; his children,

Kim, Kathy, Karen, Kenny, Kevin, Trina, Tonia, Kendal, Tiffany, Lori and Kendal’s siblings, Lance, Scott and Crystal; a sister, Betty; a brother, Robert Lee. Burial

DIED – JUNE 7, 2004 ** PAUL DEAN CHAFFINS, 33, of Xenia, Ohio, at home. Born October 1, 1970, in Xenia, a son of Buster Chaffins and Deborah Agee Isaac.

DIED – JUNE 8, 2004 ** GEORGE CAREY HAGAMAN, 80, of Louisa, Ky., at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. Born March 22, 1924, in Louisa, a son of

the late Frank L. Hagaman and Ethel Fowler Hagaman. Preceded in death by a son, Brad Hagaman. Survivors include his wife, Jean Preston Hagaman; one

daughters, Rosiella Queen and husband Floyd, Freda Vanhorn and husband Bobby, Bonnie Williams and husband Terry, Helen Jiminez and husband Paul, and

daughter of the late Burl and Rosa Eastham Lykins. Preceded in death by a son, Roy Moore, and two husbands. Survivors include two daughters, Karen Rakes

and husband Robert, and Sherry Dearborn and husband Wayne; one sister, Opal Rhoar; two brothers, Jack Lykins and Clarence Lykins; two stepsisters. Burial

held June 16, 2004 in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va.

DIED – JUNE 14, 2004 ** PEGGY LEE TIBBITS RIGGS, 45, of Genoa, in her home. Born January 5, 1959, a daughter of Robert Tibbits and the late Ilva P. Flory Tibbits. Survivors include her husband, William C. Riggs; one daughter, Angle M. Jones; two brothers, Perry Tibbits and wife Angie and Jon Tibbits. Burial held June 17,

DIED – JUNE 14, 2004 ** LESTER LEE MEADOWS, 79, of Huntington, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Born July 15, 1924, in Milton, a son of the late Emory

and Annie Chapman Meadows. Preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Irene Meadows; a daughter, Linda Frances Meadows and a son, Lester Lee Meadows Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Renda Weekley and Carolyn Coleman and husband Randall; two sons, Richard Gillispie and wife Linda and Robert Meadows and

wife Donna; four sisters, Martha Glover, Thelma Allen, Betty Niesse and Elta Mae Eckman; one brother, Delbert Meadows. Burial held June 17, 2004 in Oaklawn

Memorial Park.

DIED – JUNE 15, 2004 ** GOLDIE POFF, 94, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, at her residence. Born April 24, 1910, in Wayne County, W.Va.; a daughter

of the late William and Nancy Rains Walker. Preceded in death by her husband Charles Poff; two sons, Charles Poff and Billy Poff and a daughter, Marie Parsley.

Survivors include four sons, Ervin Poff, Don Poff, Arnet Poff, and Arthur Poff; three daughters, Betty Cummings, Wanda Mulligan and Patty Tackett; one brother,

a daughter of the late Frank P. Caudill and Elvie Pennington Caudill. Preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Parks. Survivors include one son, John Newsome;

four brothers, Verdie Caudill, Lacy Caudill, and Wilburn Caudill and Burlie Caudill. Burial held June 20, 2004 in Fairchild-Lemaster Cemetery in Louisa.

the late L. T. and Myrtle Roberts McCoy. Preceded in death by her husbands, Vernon Casey and Frank Moore; one son, Don Casey; and two daughters, Grace

Conley and Patty Casey. Survivors include two sons, Vernon Casey and wife Angie and Harvey Casey and wife Linda; two daughters, Kay Taylor and husband Walt

and husband Gil; one son, Glenn Graham and wife Rosemary. Burial held June 29, 2004 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Milton.

and Minnie Keaton Hall. Preceded in death by a brother, James Hall. Survivors include his wife, Virgie M. Adkins Hall; one daughter, Brenda Hong; two sons,

Richard Hall Jr. and David Hall; three sisters, Janet Wiloughby and Carol Ann Wilson and Jackie May; one brother, Bobby Hall. There was no funeral service.
