4, 1947 in Cadmus, KY, the son of Walter Hughes and Bessie Pennington. They had
nine children; Linda Mae Hughes Swenson, Clifford Eugene Hughes, Wanda Louise
Hughes, the late John Walter Hughes, Shelia Ann Hughes Kensinger, the late Lois
Fay Huges Derifield, David Franklin Hughes, Sheria Lee Hughes Williamson and
Richard Dale Hughes. Survivors include three sisters; Nellie Taylor, Dorothy
Spillman and the late Cleo Cooper of Columbus, OH; two brothers, the late Daniel
