Born January 25, 1932, in Wayne County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lon and Cora Adams Ramey. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charles R. Farley; three sisters; and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Gina Scragg (Nelson) Salazar; one son, J. Stephen (Mary) Scragg; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola (D. Clifford) Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Burial March 8, 2008, in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio.

Preceded in death by six sisters, Lucille Meeks, Virginia Cox, Josephine Eslick, Viola Mitchell, Betty Smith and an infant sister; six brothers, Kermit, Melvin, Jr., Thurman Lee, John Stanley, Carlos and Franklin Smith.
