LARCOME LEE "CHIP" MOUNTS - In the words of a wise
young man, this world has been robbed of a bright shiny star by a brutally cruel
disease and it rips our hearts out. He is joyously sitting by the side the God
he revered and without a doubt is wanting us to be happy for him. Chip was not
in lest, an ill-natured man, very much the opposite, a very intelligent, fair,
kind, wise, repsectful and generous man but he did not suffer fools gladly. A
quiet presence that truly spoke softly and carried a big stick. He was a rare
man, for these times, a highly principled man of amazing integrity and strength
of character. He was the purest essence of a gentleman and definition of the
Marine Corps Values of Honor - Courage - Commitment and Semper Fi. He deeply
loved God, his country, his family and the United States Military and proudly
served in the United States Marine Corps and Vietnam. Chip was a self made man
of choice. After a difficult childhood, at best, Vietnam at 18 and a few poor
choices, he graduated from the School of Hard Knocks with honors in becoming the
quintessential man of his own choosing. He preferred to give credit for this to
